What makes the Classic case… classic?

Recently we got the question from a new customer, "what makes the Classic case… classic?"

Fair point John! It got us thinking that some people new to MagBak might appreciate a quick explainer of what exactly goes into our original minimal case. Why the Classic came to be, let's say.

When we originally set out years ago, there were really 2 main categories of phone cases: pretty, and functional.

But, we wanted something that was both attractive from a minimal design sense, and, well, functional for daily use. Meaning, it needed to protect the phone, mount almost anywhere, and not be a bulky block.

It’s testing 100s of manufacturing techniques to shave down millimeters for better hand feel without sacrificing durability.

More than magnetically optimized charging, it's the most N52 magnets built-in without the aggressive bulk of insecure competitors.

There's a cover, then there's protection

It’s shock-absorbing air-pocket corners tested for 6ft drops with an edgeless screen protector giving it no awkward lips or exposed gaps (included in latest generation of Classic cases).
